This study investigates the use of ground coffee waste as an eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution. Coffee waste concentrations ranging from 3000 to 9000 ppm were tested in 0.5 M HCl. Results from polarization and SEM analyses indicated that coffee waste effectively reduced corrosion by forming protective layers. The corrosion rate decreased with increasing coffee waste concentration, with inhibition efficiency rising from 75% at 3000 ppm to 92% at 9000 ppm. These results demonstrate the potential of ground coffee waste as an effective, eco-friendly alternative for corrosion prevention
