Malaysia palm oil sector is growing rapidly every year and generate high amount of solid waste such as Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB). EFB usually will be burned and this will cause another serious environmental pollution. Although the economic value of the EFB is low, but it can be develop to be use in various applications. One of the latest applications that use EFB is by using EFB as the termite baits. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the spraying method in treated EFB and to determine the optimum concentration of active ingredients and moisture content of treated EFB. There is one type of EFB fiber used in this experiment which is shredded EFB and it will be treated by using spraying method. During experiment, 5 different concentration of mixed imidacloprid and rotenone are use. Treated EFB also will be dried for 4 different period. It was found that the EFB that is treated with 0.005 % concentration of imidacloprid and rotenone able to kill termite in less than 4 days. Result analysis reveals that termite attract to eat the fully dried EFB. The content of cellulose is high in EFB and it is suitable to be use in controlling the termite because cellulose is one of the main food for termites. Using EFB as an artificial bait for termite can help to reduce the amount of solid waste in agriculture industry as well as to reduce the damage made by termite
