The process of diagnosis and treatment of patients in private clinics is seen as requiring a solid implementation standard, especially in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for disease diagnosis. This is because the correct diagnosis and treatment of the disease is very important to solve the patient's problem. Previous studies have found that the occurrence of weak attitudes and behavior of doctors such as impatience, making mistakes and being careless in treatment has caused annoyance among the community. Such errors and negligence can affect the quality of treatment required by patients. In this matter, doctors need to be exposed to the understanding of Islamic ethical practices such as communicating with prudence, good manners and behavior in order to avoid mistakes. Islamic ethical principles emphasize the doctor's relationship with God. Therefore the main objective of this research is to build an Islamic code of ethics to overcome the problem and further provide a resolution to patient dissatisfaction. In the context of this study, the researcher used a qualitative method by interviewing two private clinic doctors as the subject of a case study. Next, the researcher conducted open and in-depth interviews with five doctors at five private clinics in the State of Pahang, in addition to observation, document research and questionnaires to the public. The interview data was analyzed manually and the questionnaire was analyzed through SPSS software, 20. The process of data collection and analysis was carried out through a thematic approach which was analyzed, developed and diversified in the form of a narrative description. This analysis has produced themes that lead to the formation of the SOPi model as a code of Islamic ethical elements. The findings of this study have shown that the Islamic Ethical Elements (EEI) construct was identified and agreed through the consensus of sharia experts with an achievement value exceeding 75% and has produced a final item of 22 main elements of Islamic ethics. This finding was also found to have a significant positive influence on the principles of medical ethics applied through the Islamic approach. This shows that the application of Islamic ethical elements during the diagnosis process of patient treatment affects the satisfaction and safety of the patient. In relation to that, the construction of the Islamic Standard Operating Procedure (SOPi) model is an Islamic code of ethics that will be a reference for doctors in private clinics. The development of the model is to improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment services more effectively and the theoretical implications that lead to a more robust effort towards the implementation of Islamic ethical elements in comprehensive medical treatment.
