Summary, etc. The growing need for sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources has sparked discussions on finding alternatives to conventional fossil fuels due to the negative impacts that fossil fuels pose on the environment. Bio-gasoline, a renewable biofuel, can be produced from waste cooking oil (WCO) and has emerged as a potential substitute to fossil fuels. The production of bio-gasoline falls in the range of C5–C12 hydrocarbons. This study explores the potential of waste concrete as a catalyst to produce bio-gasoline through catalytic cracking of WCO. The study focused on exploring the impacts of catalyst loading and particle size on the yield and selectivity of C5-C12 hydrocarbons obtained from WCO using three different catalyst loadings ranging from 5g to 10g as well as three different particle sizes of ranging from 75 to 600 μm at a fixed temperature of 400 ºC. The research findings highlighted that for different catalyst loading, the highest yield and selectivity of C5-C12 hydrocarbons were achieved using 10g of calcined concrete catalyst (59.14%, 1.45), while at different catalyst particle size, the highest yield and selectivity was obtained using 75 - 150 μm of calcined concrete catalyst (46.56%, 0.87). The results suggest that a higher catalyst loading, and smaller particle size will increase the yield and selectivity of C5-C12 hydrocarbons obtained during the catalytic cracking of WCO.
