Summary, etc. This study was conducted to study the heat transfer distribution inside the tubular furnace and reactor for pyrolysis process. Using the CFD fluents and GAMBIT, heat transfer distribution inside tubular furnace had been stimulated. Stainless steel 316 reactor had been used as cmbustion chamber inside the tubular furnace. A blank test experiment was conducted to validate simulation results from CFD simulation. The parameter involve in this simulation and experimental only temperature. The temperatureprofiles based on 600'C supplied from the heating element to turbular furnace. The model calculations showed a good agreement with the measured experimental data and simulation results. By using CFD simulation we have a potential to improve operation of tubular furnace with high performance and efficiency of heat transfer into combustion chamber (reactor). Ultimately, these CFD model has disadvantages of reduced cost, time and ability to optimize design significantly without much investment in the rel experiment. Results from this study can be used as guide to design tubular firnace for lab scale or industrial scale with high efficiency and performance of heat transfer for heating process.-Author-
