| Summary, etc. | Ceramic filled coating is a roof coating material that consist of ceramic and polymer. The function of this coating is not only as a heat-resistant but it also can deflect the sun’s rays thus lowering inside temperature dramatically. It’s also act like a sound resistance which lower sound levels in the building by filling cracks at the roof. In this study, it focused on choosing the optimum condition of the ceramic and polymer to be as a roof coating. This optimum condition can be determined by doing the tensile test. The maximum tensile stress was obtained using the sample with the 2.0% of ceramic added with 1kg of acrylic polymer. This proportion is best among the other samples because it gain maximum tensile stress (574.67 kN/m2) and maximum load (17.24 kN). Viscosity test being carried out in relationship with the curing time of the coating after being applied to the roof. The result of the viscosity is increasing with the value of the percentage of ceramic added. |
