Malaysia government has introduced many initiatives to facilitate the adoption of ICT in the education sector but still in the development process. There are many success example of using the tutoring system in order to increase the student performance at oversea. There is a lot problem facing by secondary school students. Ineffective teaching-learning method, different learning and teaching style, large size student for a classroom and etc. are the serious problem which will make the student performance down. In order to develop 4TTS tutoring system, few objectives are created. There are to study about the four-model architecture for tutoring system and to develop the tutoring system in the form of web-based application prototype. Therefore, V-model of software development life cycle will be used to develop the tutoring system. There are nine steps in the V-model for the whole process of the development which are requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, module design, implementation, component testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing. As a result, the four-model architecture of tutoring system will be developed. The expected outcome must consist of component inside are student model, tutor model, domain model and user interface. There are four types of user in these systems that are student, teacher, parent and admin. In conclusion, there is a lot of limitation that should be improved in the future work. The developed 4TTS tutoring system is achieved all the objectives proposed. |
