Summary, etc. Almost devices are used battery-powered and operate on an extremely economical energy budget since continuous batteries replacement is not an option. It is also generates low power characteristic in components and design provide the opportunities for alternative types of power source to traditional batteries. This project aims to investigate the performance of electromagnetic energy harvester (EEH) for different size of magnet.Based on electromagnetic methods, the energy source comes from vibration of principle of spring mass system from mechanical to electrical energy conversion. In EEH mechanism that is constructed, the magnetic mass moving in static coil that made of a conductive wire winding. From the oscillation motion of the mass that is moving earlier with certain amplitude and frequency, the energy that be harvested can be measured and analyzed. On EEH mechanism is a long coil, wire diameter, the number of windings, as well as the amplitude of vibration was maintained constant with amplitude from 50 Hz till 500 Hz of frequency, whereby the electromagnetic mass is varies in sizes. From the experiment analysis, the value of maximum output voltage due to large magnet size is the highest and the small magnet size is the lowest one. At frequency of 100 Hz, the peak maximum output voltage is 81.9436 mV for large magnet size and the small magnet size is give the value of 55.67086 mV meanwhile a middle magnet which is 55.96386 mV. For increase in electromagnetic mass, however, it will increase the induced voltage and also influence the performance itself. This transduction can be improved to compare with simulation analysis such as ANSYS software.
