This thesis discusses on the implementation of medical image watermarking in the tamper localization and lossless recovery. By using the watermarking to authenticate medical images and to supply the extra security is needed on the top of the current security measures take places. Method of the watermarking will applied to the medical images must reversible or not, an area is a region of interest (ROI) should be determined on the image to keep the original information. The image of watermarked generated must have visual quality same with the original version. Schemes of the watermarking must be tested in a simulated operational environment for practicality verification. In this thesis, one of the watermarking schemes for medical images is proposed. The tamper localization and lossless recovery (TALLOR) scheme will be uses to compress the recovery information embedded in the region of non-interest RONI is outside of the ROI to achieve the exact or lossless recovery after tampering process is discovered. In conclusion, schemes of the watermarking will in effect implemented in practice to avoid cheat and enhance security of the information. |
