Summary, etc. The study area is located at Sungai Isap, Kuantan, Pahang. The peak flow increased rapidly because most of the natural land has been converted to be concrete surface and this phenomenon increases the surface runoff. The first objective of the study is to collect rainfall and water level data at study area. Other objective is to analysis the relationship between rainfall pattern and water level at stud area. Rainfall intensity and water level is the most important parameter for this study. The equipment used for collecting water level data is Global Water Logger and for rain gauge is Rainfall Logger ISCO 4250. All data are collected within a month from 15 September 2007 until 22 October 2007. Based on the hyetograph analysis, the water level and rainfall depth have been analyses by considering the tide level to study the rainfall-runoff relationship. Then the relationship between rainfall pattern and water level have been analyses by using Rational Method using the parameter to estimate the peak flow discharge value. From the data analysis, when the rainfall intensity increased, the water level will also increase proportionally. Through this analysis, the relationships between rainfall pattern and water level have been shown. -Author.
