Maintenance of telecommunication tower is a process of restoration works of the structure and components of the towers itself. Telecommunication tower require maintenance in order to support elevated antennas and component of the tower. Maintenance management is important to maintain the stability of the tower structure and it can be function in long term period as well. Strategic planning need to be implement in maintenance management system to make sure a serious problem can be early identified and prevent. Lack of maintenance management system when it’s not applied the strategic planning can increase the budget or cost of maintenance and repairing in the future. This study is focused on identifying on common practice of maintenance management system , identfying the factor effect on perfomance of telecomunication tower and identifying the advantages of using startegic planning in maintenance management system.To achieve the objective of this study, literature review was done first, then the data was collected by using survey questionnaires. All data collected is from the respondent by distribute the questionnaire through email and google docs. Data collection was analayzed using average index analysis. Findings from this study shows many of organization involve were using preventive maintenance and in satisfactory level. Hence, to improve the level maintenance management system , the organization involve need to use an effective step of strategic planning to increase the quality of maintenance work, cost effective satisfaction and optimizes the maintenance processes |
