Summary, etc. There are about 0.22 tonne Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB) yields from one tonne of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). EFB can be collected at palm oil mills after the fruit bunches are pressed at palm oil mills, to get the extracted oil. EFB function still underutilize nowadays which they need an alternative way to manage it. In EFB contain a high degree of cellulose, which is one of food sources for termites. Termite problem is risky since it can cause danger to building structure both wood and concrete structure which caused a lot of money to repair and control their activity. The objective of the study is to determine the optimum concentration of mixture between rotenone and imidacloprid for solid artificial bait by using soaking method and also to reduce the numbers of termites as well as to control the excess of oil palm empty fruit bunch. The research was conducted in Kuantan, in Indera Mahkota 8 house, where a subterranean Termite infestation has been detected. During the survey, the damages and affected place is spotted. Then a baiting program was applied in zone selected as ‘sample area’. The in-situ was achieved with termite detection in sample tubes with 0.005%, 0.003% and 0.001% of active ingredients (imidacloprid and rotenone) within 1 months of baiting. After the baiting procedure, follow-up laboratory experiments were initiated. In laboratory, the counting termite experiment were done with two parameter with different concentration and different soaking period. Evaluation of the different concentration of active ingredient was ended until day 4 of experiment and found that the most effective concentration was 0.005% to kill termite. In soaking period evaluation, there were 4 set of test with different soaking periods 15min, 30min, 45min and 60min being conducted with 4 different concentration selected sample A(0%), sample B(0.005%), sample C(0.003%) and sample D(0.001%). The soaking period evaluation was ended after 7 days of experiment in laboratory. The termite attracted to consume early the shredded EFB and the result was very effective. In conclusion, the optimum concentration of imidacloprid and rotenone is 0.005 % and the optimum soaking period is 30 min which is the most suitable for designing artificial bait and safe to environment as well as help to control termites
