Phyto-pesticides are substances that are derived from plants and contain bioactive compounds with pesticidal properties. The pesticides are less harmful than chemicals pesticides because it is eco-friendly and safe for living things. However, the pesticide is less efficacy than other pesticide. So, this research is to study the impact of different ratios of prebiotic and garlic extract on the efficacy of a chemical-free, prebiotic-infused phyto- pesticide formulation and validate the effectiveness of the optimized phyto-pesticide formulation through its pesticidal properties. The combination between garlic extracts and prebiotics as chemical-free, prebiotic-infused phyto-pesticide, are tested on 4 Okra plants with different concentration of garlic extract in the pesticide to see the effectiveness and benefits to the plant. The results show that the ratio of 75 % of garlic extract and 25% water combined with prebiotics and dish soap are the most effective concentration to deter away the pests from damaging the treated plants, meanwhile the untreated okra plants (control plants) are the highest damaged leaf by the pest and become reference to this experiment to show the effectiveness of the pesticide.
