This study examines the impact of work-life balance on the mental health of students at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), addressing the gap in research on how academic and personal life imbalances affect student well-being in Malaysia. Using a cross-sectional design, data from 155 students were collected via an online survey incorporating the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) and analyzed with SPSS. Results indicated moderate stress levels (mean score of 2.29), with no significant demographic differences, suggesting universal work-life balance challenges among students. The findings emphasize the need for institutional support, such as stress management programs and flexible policies, to enhance mental health and academic performance. Recommendations include expanding mental health resources and fostering a supportive campus environment, while future research should explore longitudinal and diverse student populations for broader applicability. This study highlights the critical role of work-life balance in promoting student well-being.
