Dissertation note: Project paper (Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Systems & Networking) -- Universiti Malaysia Pahang - 2012 Abstract: To achieve a systems integrity and accessibility, the ability of a system to perform multiple tasks simultaneously 24/7 is very essential. The drawbacks often met in a system is the data required are being entered manually into database, very time consuming to enter data as single entry at a time and the data inserted into the database are in the form unformatted data. Online Banking System in UMP Mainframe is a system done in mainframe environment to allow system operators and system admin to run a batch type input and output of the system. The data can be inserted by automated data entry into the database via COBOL. A formatted report will be generated and stored in an independent flat file as output for system operator to browse and view purpose. The preparation, analysis, development and discussion of this system will be discussed in this report.
