Dissertation note: Project paper (Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Systems & Software Engineering) -- Universiti Malaysia Pahang - 2013 Abstract: The purpose of developing UMP Integrated Promotion System is to promote the institution by providing information to the public on all the achievements and success stories of the institution. This system displays a series of achievements and success stories of different categories that are self-written by the achievers themselves. By publishing all these achievements, it gives a good image of UMP to the public which in return provide their confidence with UMP‘s products and services. The system is a web-based system, developed using PHP language and MYSQL as the database system. It has been developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. It used the 3-tier architecture where the interface, the logic, the database are at different tiers. It has been successfully developed based on IBM Centre of Excellence (IBM CoE) requirements as the owner of the system.
