Dissertation note: Project paper (Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Systems & Networking)) -- Universiti Malaysia Pahang - 2011 Abstract: This Patient Management System with Alert Notification Through Mobile Phone is a web based system that supported by technique of SMS gateway. This is renewal of the existing system in the Student Health Center at the University Malaysia Pahang. The purpose of this reform is system that currently system used in Student Health Center is no longer efficient to run in the present day. The effect of these inefficient causing frequent errors when employee entering information to their patients that can affect the performance and quality of services at the student health center. This system has four main modules, namely a new patient record, record about the patient medicals, make a communication medium between patient and doctor and lastly is to send the appointment notification SMS using the SMS gateway. The development of this system has given the opportunity to the Student Health Center Universiti Malaysia Pahang to improve and to increase their services quality. Rapid Application Development model is applied within this project’s methodology. Rapid Application Development Method is chosen because it suits with this project development that changed often.
