Due to its mobility, it is easily targeted by thieves. The purpose of the report is to research on how to enhance the security system of a laptop. The way to approach is by pairing the laptop with a smartphone. A mobile application will be installed in the smartphone while a background application will be installed in the laptop. When there is an internet connection, the smartphone will be able to remotely access the laptop. Functions can be carried out on the laptop. The system created is solely for laptop running on Windows 7 and smartphone running on Android only. The major conclusion that can be done here is that the security system of the laptop can be enhanced and the sensitive data can be prevented from being viewed by others when the laptop is stolen. Users will be able to remotely access their laptop when their laptop is stolen.
