Project management has become crucial in the management of organizations, be it profit or non-profit oriented. Today, many organizations largely depend on projects to achieve their strategic objectives. However, the success of these projects is to a large extent depends on the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques apply by the project manager. Facing resources constraints, organizations find ways of utilizing the limited available resources to achieve the most result by coordinating and managing those resources with possible maximum efficiency. Non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) though not profit making organization as such, play a major role in national development in both developed and developing countries and more often than not, depend on projects in carrying out their activities. This thesis is set identify then most preferable project management tools and techniques in construction project as the most effective project management tools and techniques, level of understanding of project management tools and techniques in construction project and the importance of project management tools and techniques in construction project. This study only focuses in Pahang state. The study is carried out using survey through the questionnaires and the data is analyzed by using statistical analysis and Average index. The results is tabulated and shown in figure forms
