Dissertation note: Project Paper (Bachelors of Civil Engineering and Earth Resources) -- Universiti Malaysia Pahang – 2017 Abstract: Health and safety issues in the workplace that focuses mainly in the construction sector in Malaysia. Health issues can lead to a variety of negative consequences to themselves and the organization. Health issues were picked up in the pressure range of issues in the construction area. Excessive pressure can cause emotional distress and death. Therefore, the study of stress in construction among project managers, site supervisors and government officials in the construction industry is to find ways that are often adopted to overcome this problem. This problem occurs in the construction industry with a lack of awareness about this issue and do not take the initiative to solve them. Labor demand is the main factor that causes this problem occurs. There are three ways to deal with stress is practiced in schedule planning, time management and effective communication.
