This research is conducted in response of Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) proposing to launch new products named Financial Ratio Analysis. SSM is an authorized body which formed under an Act of Parliament that regulated corporate and business affairs in Malaysia. There are three objectives to be attained in this research. The first objective to visualize the customer needs and behaviour in using SSM’s existing product, Financial Historical Comparison and new product which is Financial Ratio Analysis through visualization dashboard. The second objective is to measure the relationship between the customer needs and behaviour towards the new products. Lastly, to implement Logistic Regression Model to predict SSM customers’ decision in purchasing the new product. Previous researches explained that the needs and behaviour of customers are easily changed based on the trends, demands and technologies. Therefore, analysis on customer needs and behaviour needed to be done occasionally. Online questionnaire is the method used in collecting the data on customer needs and behaviour towards SSM’s products. There are 252 companies are involved in this research which consist of public, private and other types of company. Understanding the customer needs and behaviour can help in the decision-making process as it is one of the crucial parts in any product development. The methods used in this study are visualization using Tableau software, polychoric correlation coefficient and logistic regression analysis. These methods will help in achieving the objective of the study. By utilizing Tableau and RStudio software, the study found that both SSM’s products which are Financial Historical Comparison and Financial Ratio Analysis received positive feedback from the companies. Furthermore, the significant or pivotal needs in a company also have been identified through correlation analysis and logistic regression model.
