  <abstract>The increasing demand for sustainable and efficient energy storage solutions necessitates  the development of advanced electrolytes with enhanced safety and performance. This  research focuses on synthesizing and characterizing guar gum-based gel polymer  electrolytes (GPEs) doped with sodium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide (NaTFSI) and  incorporating 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl) as a solvent. Utilizing  the solution casting method, GPEs were prepared with varying NaTFSI compositions,  followed by structural and thermal analyses using Fourier Transform Infrared  Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Electrochemical  Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) was employed to evaluate ionic conductivity and its  temperature dependence. The results reveal that NaTFSI doping enhances the ionic  conductivity of the GPEs, achieving a peak value at an optimal composition before  declining due to ion aggregation and reduced mobility. FTIR analysis confirms  significant interactions between Na+ ions and the polymer matrix, while DSC highlights  the relationship between glass transition temperature (Tg) and polymer flexibility. The  findings demonstrate the importance of balancing ionic concentration, polymer  flexibility, and ion mobility to optimize conductivity. This research underscores the  potential of guar gum-based GPEs as eco-friendly, high-performance electrolytes for  next-generation energy storage devices.</abstract>
