To determine the most important factors to produce high-performing dielectric materials from pineapple leaves, a few aspects were observed. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect the permittivity and cellulose content of pineapple leaf utilized to make dielectric materials. The tests were designed using a 4-factorial analysis with two responses, boiling time (min), cutting length (cm), weight of pineapple leaf (g), and ratio volume of water (ml) to weight of pineapple leaf (g), to discover the ideal conditions for cellulose content and permittivity. 30 and 50 minutes of boiling time, 600 and 800 mL of water volume, 5 and 10 cm of cutting length, and 0.5 and 2.5 g of weight of pineapple leaf with cellulose content and permittivity as responses were the range values for each factor. The experiment was carried out in 16 runs according to the configuration created by the Design-Expert program. The cellulose content percentage of the sample was determined using Kurschner and Hanack's method, and the permittivity value was determined using Agilent Vector Network (VNA). This result shows an excellent relationship between the measured and expected percentages of cellulose content and permittivity. The pineapple leaf's weight was found to be the most important factor in determining the permittivity value. The study's ideal parameters shown included a 30-minute boiling period, 600 milliliters of water, a 10-cm cutting length, and 2.5 grammes of pineapple leaf weight with percentages of cellulose content and permittivity value of 59.13% and 3.2773, respectively. To conclude, a pineapple leaf could be used as a basis for dielectric composite material UR - https://umpir.ump.edu.my/id/eprint/47020 ER -
