This study focuses on the verification test of Non-Ionic Emulsified Modification Bitumen (NEMB) for coating and insulation applications. Due to the increasing demand for advanced protective materials in construction and industrial sectors, modified bitumen emulsions have gained significant attention as an effective solution for enhancing durability, waterproofing, and insulation properties. This research aims to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of NEMB through various experimental analyses, including physical, chemical, and adhesion tests. The study involves the formulation of NEMB by incorporating non-ionic emulsifiers, refined used oil, and industrial bitumen emulsion. Several parameters, such as viscosity, water separation efficiency, flash point, drying rate, and adhesivity, were systematically analyzed to determine the suitability of NEMB for coating and insulation applications. The results indicate that NEMB demonstrates superior adhesion, enhanced drying properties, and improved resistance to environmental factors compared to conventional bitumen emulsions. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) were also utilized to characterize the chemical composition and structural integrity of the modified bitumen. The findings of this research suggest that NEMB has significant potential as a cost-effective and efficient alternative for coating and insulation applications in industrial and construction settings. Its enhanced adhesive and protective characteristics make it a promising material for preventing moisture penetration and fungal growth in building interiors. Further studies and optimizations are recommended to explore its long-term performance and broader industrial applicability.
