N2  - 15-year-old Gan Yuan is in the third grade of middle school. The high school entrance examination was drawing near, but he just could not sit down and prepare for the test. His parents’ attempts to discipline him were of no avail. Finally, they put their son in a “growing experience project”, that is, they sent Gan Yuan to an impoverished mountainous area to see how other kids of the same age were striving for living and studying.
