Nowadays, there are various types of method to produce the Hot Mix Asphalt for road pavement that had been used all over the world such as Marshall Mix Design, Hveem Method and the latest method called Superior Performing Asphalt Pavement or Superpave in order to produce the pavement that can be used for longer service life. The main objective of this project is to know the effectiveness of using palm oil bar fiber on road pavement and also to determine the stability and strength of pavement using palm oil bar fiber. The road pavement that to be construct by adding the palm oil bar fiber into the Hot Mix Asphalt can be improved in their workability, durability, stability, and the strengthens. The research contains basic information of procedures, process, techniques to produce Hot Mix Asphalt with additional of fibers. This project also includes the method on how the samples are produced using the Marshall Mix Design including a step by step flow chart of Marshall Mix Design process. It also includes the information and the guideline to choose the best materials to perform the mixture of Hot Mix Asphalt. It is essential to know all the properties of the material that will be used for Hot Mix Asphalt to ensure that the mixture to be produce will meet the requirement and criteria for the Marshall Mix Design. -Author
