This concept is useful to be set in mind as strategy beginning direct explosion method usage. The purposes of this study are to identify problems and solutions related to the drilling process using explosion method in quarry. Method of study applied is through the literature review obtained from all the related sources. Interviews have been done and questionnaire has been sent through post for the data collection process. The questionnaire form has been distributed to the consultant, contractor, bomber and engineer by hand and also mailed to Terengganu. The questionnaire form contains types of problem and solution which occurred in quarry. For analysis process, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software and Microsoft Excel has been used. Collected data is analyzed based on index percentage and index value through frequency method and average index analysis. As the conclusion, there are five (5) types of equipment and machineries that have been identified which are explosives, bulldozer, excavator, front-end-loader and truck. Besides, the study result also shows the problems and solutions for blasting work. For problems there are over boulder, break down machines, fly rock, ground vibration and air pollution.
