This project is focusing on modeling and simulation of a single point, port fuel injection system in the GT-Fuel. The main objective of this project is to model and simulate port fuel injection system of a single cylinder, spark ignition (SI) engine and to study the effect of orifice size to the fuel quantity. The results obtained are compared with manual calculation. In addition, the parameters are ensured to be within range with that of the standard fuel injection system for Yamaha FZ150i. There are four different orifice sizes investigated in this project. In the preliminary simulation, the standard parameters of Yamaha FZ150i fuel injection system are used then the orifice sizes are varied. From the results, when the orifice size is increased, mass injected and mass flow also increases, however only injector pressure decreases.
