  <abstract>From the study, the finite element modelling (FEM) of Hole Expansion sheet metal formability test is an important step in sheet metal forming process validation. In this research, FEM is used to monitor the hole-expansion test. The hole-expansion property is also called “stretch flange ability test”. There are two main kinds of hole-expansion tests. They are the Japanese standard and Corus standard to determine the hole-expansion property. For the Japanese standard sample sheet metal are cut to 60mm x 60mm and a hole is made at the centre of the sample by punching. The punching clearance is 0.1 mm. For the Corus standard are the hole-expansion sample cut to 100mm x 100mm square. The 12mm hole is punch in the centre of each sample. In many cases, while deforming the sheet metal, the component fractures at the certain point. The cause of failure is the parameters related to forming process. One of the main problems with the planning of sheet metal forming is the testing of formability in sheet metals and to forecast the results itself. The objective of the research is to perform simulation of Hole-expansion Test using Finite Element Analysis. To investigate the effect of shape hole and the draw beads at shape of sheet metal in Hole-expansion test. Then, access characteristic and formability of different sheet metal material using plane stress axis-symmetric for Hole-expansion test. For the conclusion, the main objective of modelling Hole-expansion sheet metal formability test was achieved. There is only one of sheet metal based on different in material for the simulation. The value of prescribed displacement and thickness are always in constant. The sheet metal with different material was analyzed with Algor FEA V22 software.</abstract>
