N2  - Flooding and overflow of water is the main problem that always occurs in east coast area at the end of every year.  It is because of the rainfall intensity at east coast is larger compare to west area.  Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) which is situated at east coast also had faced this problem but not at alarming level.  This study is to determine the ability of drain to carry water discharge and runoff in Universiti Malaysia Pahang Gambang Campus.  All data were analyzed using a few equations which is Rational Method and Manning’s Equation.  Then, the Infoworks CS software also was used to determine the problematic drain.  The result indicated that there were a few problematic drains in UMP.  A few recommendations such as redesign the drain and maintenance of drain measures have been made which may suitable to overcome the problem
