The purpose of this project is to design and develop a low cost programmable Window wiper robot. This robot is using overall twenty four-joints for all legs and used four Servo motor to control the movement. Four joints are using the motors but the other joint move mechanically by using screws, nuts and washers. The body of the robot is 80% built by using flat plastic and 20% aluminum. So, by using this design we can reduce the cost to build the robot. The heart and mind of this robot is the PIC18F4550 microcontroller. This robot will climb forward while monitoring the value receives from the limit switch. If an obstacle detected, the robot will stop automatically. Window wiper Robot is also considering for the replacement of human from little space area situations. This project is divided into three main sections that are the electronic design of the robot’s controller, the development of the robot’s body and legs, and the programming for microcontroller to control the robot.
