Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop marketing strategy which helps the housing developers in Kuantan to produce a project finished product that is sellable or quickly sellable namely a completed residential unit. In this study, there were six companies from housing developers involved both public and private sectors and 25 potential homebuyers. Questionnaires were distributed to housing developers via mail and fax. The questionnaire consisted of their perceptions towards quick sale and marketing strategy. In addition, semi-questionnaire which combines interview and questionnaires were conducted with the potential homebuyers. The data from closed-ended questionnaire was analyzed in percentage while the data from open-ended questionnaire was meant to get housing developers' opinions subjectively on their action(s) which was implemented to overcome the problem of not-sellable and slow sale of residential unit. The finding from this research showed that only minority from the sample studied having problems in selling their residential unit and also minority of them having problems of slow sale. Finally, it is suggested some steps to improve the quality of selling their unit by referring to the needs and expectations from the potential homebuyers -Author. 0aMarketing
