The development in construction technology helps to accelerate and improve the quality of the building constructed. Periodical evaluation of a building has become a compulsory to determine the strength of the structure, and also as a requirement for building maintenance. This perhaps can maintain the quality of the building and extend its lifespan. This evaluation not only need for new building or building in construction process, but also important for historical building as this kind of building is very important to be take care as part of nation history. Thus to this, the objectives of this study are to apply non destructive test (NDT) method to evaluate concrete structure and to investigate the accuracy at the various NDT method. Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia (LKIM) building in Kuantan, Pahang has been selected as a project case study to estimate its structure performance. In this study, Windsor probe test as one of NDT method was been used for site evaluation while for lab evaluation Rebound hammer and Ultrasonic pulse velocity was used and compared with the destructive test (DT). A slab specimen size of 1000mm x 1000mm x 150mm and nine cubes sizes of 100mm x 100mm, both were grade 30 were made as a controlled specimen. The controlled specimens were used to predict the strength of concrete and compared with the site structure test. The data obtained from all the tests by NDT and DT will be compared and from the data analysis it seems that Windsor probe method. It is the most accurate NDT method to be applied and it is very suitable and applicable for structural evaluation. -Author
