N2  - The arrangements lines and network at junction of Kg. Seri Mahkota Arnan and Kuantan-Gambang Road have rapidly increased as a result of the growth of population and residential areas surrounding. The main problem of that junction is it can cause dangerous maneuver to road users. Many factors lead to this problem such as poor sight distance, inappropriate taper, inappropriate signboard, non existence of marking lines and poor road condition. Although, drivers' carelessness and lack of attention were main factors of traffic accident, attention should also be given to engineering and environment factors. Road Safety Audit Stage 5( operational stage) will be carried out at site. The main objective of this study is to identify the hazardous features at accident-prone locations of an existing road junction and to suggest the traffic safety requirements of all road users considered in the planning, design, construction and operation of road junction. Related traffic data were collected and analyses were done. From the analysis, there were many deficiencies detected at the junction. Although improving the junction design would be costly, minimizing or reducing the deficiencies on the road is essential choice in upgrading the safety of the road users. -Author
