Internal Model Control (IMC) yields very good performance for set point tracking, but gives sluggish response for disturbance rejection problem. The parameter of the physical system can vary with operating condition and time. Lately, the new tuning method was proposed to overcome the engineer problem in industrial. Maximum peak and gain margin tuning method is one of the tuning method that has been proposed. Maximum peak indicates the stability of closed loop system. Meanwhile, gain margin used to measure the stability of a control system. Maximum peak and gain margin is on of the tuning that can be implemented to Kaya structure. These research intends to implement and analyze Mp-GM tuning method to Kaya 2DOF-IMC structure. This research measured by using proposed method on standard 2DOF-IMC. There are several steps to implement and analyse this tuning method to Kaya 2DOF-IMC structure. Eventhought the performance of Mp-Gm tuning method for standarf 2DOF-IMC is better than Kaya 2DOF-IMC, based on simulation results show that Kaya 2DOF-IMC structured can be implemented by using Mp-Gm tuning method. 0aControlled release technology
