N2  - Learning Management System or LMS is widely use in colleges and universities around the world as a management tools for teaching and learning, over the years it also have evolve from solely function as a medium for posting notes and assignments to a place where student can discuss among their own, learning instructor can monitor student behavior and accept their works via LMS. As the number of student and user each year is growing, one reporting system is needed to measure the effectiveness of using LMS. User Participation Monitoring using Data Visualization focus is to bring executive style reporting to lecturers and members of the faculty administration on how well student and also lecturer has use the LMS in their teaching and learning by utilizing the server log file from LMS itself. Bringing data to be viewed in an understandable and comprehensive way is important when analyzing accumulated data, as server log data may contain huge amount of data that has been accumulated through a period of time, ransacking and sorting out this data require huge amount of time and effort. In bringing back the issue of data visualization the easiest way and method to save time in making visualization is to make it on client-side web application, as this will enable the server to operate in a more efficient way and not to bring unnecessary load to the database. By utilizing HTML5 and JavaScript, the system is going to be develop through iterative and incremental methodology to ensure that the system can cater the ever-changing requirement of the user
