This report will help to introduce a system that will overcome his problem. A Point of Sales (POS) will be developed using JavaScript, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Web Services (XML) and also XAMPP for the server. This POS will implement a direct graphical manipulation technique which facilitates the usability of system. Besides that, to improve maintainability and reusability of the system, object oriented design pattern will be use followed by a normalized database design. There are a lot of existing systems in the market that manages their cinema system and I have chosen to learn more on veezi system, theaterBot system and also TicketNew system and each of them have their own advantages and disadvantages.
