Attention has been directed towards development of alternative treatment methodologies. The Copper heavy metal was chosen regarding to the electroplating industrial become as the largest industries that produce hazarder’s wastewater in the world. So, in this study the removal of copper (Cu) from industrial wastewater by precipitation, coagulation and flocculation processes was investigated. The main point of this combination processes is to investigated high removal efficiency by determining the optimum parameter used such as pH and chemical reagent dosage. Solutions of various concentrations of Cu (100, 500 and 1000 ppm) were prepared from copper salts. Jar test experiment were conducted to implement the treatment of copper by precipitation, coagulation and flocculation process. The treated wastewater samples were analyzed for concentration of copper by atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). The result for copper removal efficiency was very high. The highest removal efficiency is 99.98% with 110 mg/l of precipitant and 7 mg/l of coagulant for 1000 mg/l of initial Cu concentration. The result following by 99.97% of removal efficiency at 80 mg/l and 5 mg/l of precipitant and coagulant, respectively at 500 mg/l of initial Cu concentration. For 100 mg/l of initial concentration, the removal efficiency is 99.82% with 50 mg/l of precipitant and 3 mg/l of coagulant dosage ER -
