In Malaysia. construction industry is no doubt, one of the economic boosters. This moment, construction sector in Malaysia faces safety and health issue which has been a kind of performance barrier of the country's economic development. To prevent accidents, our government established Workers Safety and Health 1994 as legal requirement for management of safety and health in construction site but the safety and health occupation management is not doing very well; hence is it true? The focus of this issue is the awareness of the construction organisations to practice occupation safety and health in construction site. Therefore, this study is actually trying to get feedbacks from contractors by distributing questionnaires to contractor organisations at certain areas in Kuantan and the feedbacks were analyzed by using frequency analysis and average index analysis. From the findings. author found that construction companies mostly aware about Management Commitment in occupation safety and health. The results shows that the awareness of construction companies can be classifY as satisfied but they must be more aware about other factors such as Risk Management, Communication and Training Participation of Workers to reduce accidents and fatalities in construction site. -Author
