Consultant is a workplace where it consists of variety members from different race, religion and ethnics. These varieties will defmitely create a community with different kinds of members with different gender, cultures and different types of communication skills. These diversity challenges might exist when there are lots of diverse members in the workplace community. Issues such as the difficulties working together with different genders, ethnics and different ages had been asked throughout the survey through questionnaires and interview. Besides that, this research had found out the level of satisfaction on the current environment at the workplace which could probably affect the workers performance while working on their tasks. Most of these challenges will defmitely affect the relationship between one another, especially when communicating with each other. This research is mainly an analysis of the influences of diversity challenges to the engineering consultants in Malaysia. From this research, lots of challenges caused by diversity had been listed down and some reactions regarding the topic were received. All the data on the survey are analyzed and the statistics are presented in a graphical form. Most of them admitted that they do not have any problem when working together with their colleagues despite some of the workers in the consultant had been identified did not expose to the meaning of diversity challenges and the effects of it. However, there are a few of them had given their responses regarding their difficulties when working together with their opposite's gender. Throughout this research, it is suggested that workers in the consultant should be informed about these challenges in order to maintain their performance and produce a better quality of work either through short courses or any other effective exposures on the topic. -Author
