An alternate technique was created to deal with the increasing quantity of waste generated by the sugarcane farm sector, namely from the production of sugarcane waste (Sugarcane Baggase) is treating fibers with alkali affects their makeup, structure, and properties, fibers taken from sugarcane bagasse were treated with different factors (Bartos et al., 2020). This work's primary objective was to utilize sugarcane waste as a base substances in cellulose extraction and to determine the factorial analysis on alkali treatment cellulose extraction from sugarcane waste. A total of five independent variables were looked at: volume NaOH (300 and 450 ml), soaking time (30 and 120min), cutting length (4 and 8cm) and percentage NaOH (5 and 10%). A Two-Level Factorial Analysis (TLFA) method was used to investigate the components that exert the greatest influence on the cellulose content (%). The experiment was done in 16 runs, following the plan created by the Design-Expert software. The quantities of cellulose content (%) were measured using a method of fiber content analysis (Kurschner-Hanack Method). The findings demonstrated that the amount of sugarcane waste, its size, and the drying temperature were the most crucial factors in influencing the cellulose content (%) percentage. The results show that the volume NaOH, soaking time and cutting length is the most important factor in deciding the cellulose content value. The best conditions found in this study were: 450 ml volume NaOH, 120 min soaking time, 8 cm cutting length and 5 % percentage NaOH. These conditions gave a cellulose content of 80.4 %. In conclusion, sugarcane waste can be a good source for cellulose content value.
