520 3 _aHydraulic fracturing is a technique to enhance oil produce in low permeability reservoir by creating fractures in the rock formation after perforation. This process involves injecting mixture fluid that contain water, sand (proppant) and chemical that need to fracture the reservoir. The pressure and temperature of the fracturing fluid cause the rock fracture and allow movement of fluid. However, hydraulic fracturing has many effects that can be analyzed to ensure effectiveness. This study aims to analyze thermal effects in impermeable reservoir after fracturing with permeability 0.01mD to 0.1mD. This can analyze by doing simulations using ANYSY Fluent to fluid flow in the reservoir. Fracturing fluid cause heat transfer with reservoir that create microcrack. Regions that near injection point will have lower temperature down to 27 °C. This indicates heat transfer occurs. This study shows that the effect of temperature needs to be analyzed to enhance production and longevity of the well.
