Hylocereus pholyrizhus waste extract was selected because of red hylocereus pholyrizhus easily find in local market and its can reduce waste production in the world, which is environmental friendly. The research was conducted by using membrane reactor provided at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. The hylocereus pholyrizhus waste extract was extracted at 6 hours and after that it was filtrate using ceramic membrane filtration. The filtration was filtrate at temperature 400. During filtration, each 5 minutes the volume of hylocereus pholyrizhus waste extract filtrate was collected. The volume was collected until the volume of filtrate was constant. The flux decline of filtration for CFV and TMP was calculated. This research applied response. Surface methodology (RSM) to optimization he experiment condition. The experiment plan was based on the central composite design (CCD) For the CFV the range of flux decline at time 10 to 25 minutes. For the TMP the range of flux decline at the time 10 to 20 minutes. The highest CFV and TMP can cause the membrane easy to foul. For CFV, the best result is 0.06m/s while for TMP is 0.5 bars. | |
