520 3 _aThe bone structure has two layers which are consist of compact and spongy bone.Compact bone is a type of hard and solid which packed with organic ground substances that leave tiny space. Otherwise, spongy bone is a type of bone that consists of a lattice of thin threads of bone which is less dense than compact bone. This study was held by using caprine bone and the penetrated area for the backbone is at cervical region. 23 data was gained in this study and been sort with the time of penetration and perforation at the bone. This study is focused more about the difference signal between the outer and inner side of the bone using Acoustic Emission signal features. After classify the data, overall only two kinds of data that repeated. There are the high acoustic emission parameter distribution and low acoustic emission parameter distribution. For high acoustic emission parameter distribution, there are three processes inside it while for the low acoustic emission parameter distribution, the process was going on with the same bone and the same hole but different perforated hole at the vertebra body. From both distribution patterns, the high acoustic emission parameter distribution shows many readings that point to the bone area which is the compact layer and vice versa.
