520	3		_aFrom the most recent sources, data is the new oil, which also terms as the unprocessed raw material that turns into invaluable products after processing was done on it. Business analytics apply this concept, which helps companies in realizing their full potential through analysing data source made available through their work process. This allows top management to make smarter choices, when decisions to be made are based on many factors and complex. The project applies data visualization concepts to allow rapid knowledge extraction from the given raw dataset. Open source web technologies such as HTML5, javascript and Google APIs are also implemented which boost cross platform capability, enabling the application to be functional on the computer as well as mobile devices. This approach provides easy access to decision makers, which transform the planning process for their operational work into something much more efficient and concretized. All in all, this project will help companies in cutting major operational costs, which will directly benefit companies’ budgeting.
