520 3 _aWastewater pollution has always been a major problem throughout the world. The effects of the wastewater pollution not only occur on human health but also the ecosystem even the extinction of rarely species of aquatic wildlife. The treatment for wastewater pollution are needed to control and manage the severely pollution problems all over the world especially in Malaysia. Phytoremediation is a suitable method because it is clean, efficient, cheap and no environment interrupt. This technology uses plants to absorb the pollutants and contaminants is greatly encouraged and promoted by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency. Vetiver grass and Water hyacinth was used to treat industrial wastewater treatment. Pseudomonas Aeruginosa was used to remove heavy metals from industrial wastewater. Bacteria plays important role in treating wastewater. Objective of this study are to identify the level of pollutants contain in the industrial wastewater for baseline information and also to improve the effectiveness of pollution by using Pseudomonas aeruginosa and plant. Gebeng industrial area was selected for collection of sample industrial wastewater. BOD, COD, TSS, Turbidity, pH, Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen, heavy metals of the sample recorded for 1 months of treatment. The removal efficiency of BOD, COD, TSS, ammonical nitogen and turbidity were higher in water hyacinth plant compare to the vetiver grass plant. The removal efficiency for BOD, COD, TSS, ammoniacal nitrogen and turbidity were 51.00%, 41.67%, 59.21%, 82.72% and 68.48%. In mean while, the removal efficiency on zinc content in vetiver grass was higher but the removal efficiency on copper content was higher in water hyacinth. Treatment WH2 is more effective while treatment V1 was least effective on removing pollutants in industrial wastewater. So, the results prove
