These challenges have a clear impact on teacher productivity, work performance, and student outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the relationship between mental health and productivity among teachers. Convenience sampling was used in this cross-sectional study to investigate the relationship between mental health (depression, anxiety, and stress) and productivity among 233 primary school teachers in Kuantan, Pahang. The study used DASS-21 and Teachers’ Productivity Questionnaire, and Spearman’s correlation and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Significant negative moderate correlations between mental health and productivity were found, and nearly 60% reported elevated anxiety, and over 40% reported depression, especially among younger, early-career, female, and rural teachers.
