Dissertation note: Project paper (Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer System And Networking) -- Universiti Malaysia Pahang - 2013 Abstract: Current generation students preferring more technology based learning style in their education. Students preferring advance technology learning materials as the learning materials are more suitable for the current generation students. Technology learning materials are to attract the student attentions towards education and to avoid bore during learning process. Besides that, technology learning materials can be accessible at any time and at any place. Online Tutoring System(OTS) is developed for standard 5 students. OTS mainly focusing on Energy topic in science subject. OTS is able the teachers to share learning and teaching material via the system. Meanwhile students able to strengthen their understanding in subject clearly and which will help students in reading and writing in respective subject. Students can evaluate their understanding by accessing the assessments such as multiple choice questions and subjective questions. Video animations provide stimulation in the software to student where students interest will increase to involve in the learning environment. The advantage of Online Tutoring System(OTS) is providing subjective question for students to answer which doesn’t have in other learning system. The feature of providing subjective question, makes the Online Tutoring System(OTS) more effective and more usable for students. The Online Tutoring System(OTS) will be available as in a free web hosting. There are two targeted users in OTS system which is a single teacher who act as teacher as well as administrator and student. They are carried out different kind of roles as stated in user requirement. There are few existing system of learning and teaching materials such as using CD-ROM learning method, Web Based learning system and Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS). Waterfall has been chosen as the method to develop Online Tutoring System(OTS) system which is planning, analysis, design and development and testing. Waterfall methodology is chosen because Waterfall attempts to reduce inherent project risk by breaking a project into smaller segments, provides easy to change during the development process. Learning material method evolve from traditional method from advance learning method.
