Subject(s): Dissertation note: Project paper (Bachelor of Civil Engineering) -- Universiti Malaysia Pahang - 2007 Abstract: One of the major consideration factors in designing the tall building is wind load. This study is conducted to determine the validation of wind tunnel testing. A square building is tested in wind tunnel to determine the force distribution pattern on the building surfaces. The experiment result is compared to the MS1553:2002 (Code of Practice on Wind Loading for Building Structure), for which real building had been tested. The experiment result shows similar pattern in the force distribution as derived from MS1553:2002. It shows that the wind tunnel can be used to design wind load acting on tall building. -Author
